Commissions
If you would like me to create a one-off piece of art for you, I do accept commissions. Whether it is of a beloved pet, a much-loved location, or a still life which tells a story about you or a loved one - I can create it!
My commissioned pieces typically range from 9 x 12” to 24 x 36,” but larger pieces are possible on a case-by-case basis depending on your requirements.
The substrate I use most commonly is a cradled board. It is the perfect strong surface to handle the layering process of my artwork. The steps I take are as follows:

Step 1.
I compose, draw, and paint the underpainting and send this to you so we can confirm it’s on the right track and tweak it if needed.

Step 2.
The next step in the process is what brings the art and its uniqueness to life - the choice of papers and the layering of the collage. The papers I use come from a wide range of sources - newspapers, magazines, hand-printed papers, music sheets and specialist art paper. I can even include any precious papers, letters, or leaflets you provide to further personalize your piece.

Step 3.
Final steps include adding any necessary details to the design with paint, acrylic pens or any other medium necessary to give the desired impact for your unique piece of artwork.

And the artwork is complete!
